DiMarzios in my Bass

I couldn't find any threads specific to my cause so here goes. I want to put two new DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups in my Washburn T24 and was wondering if a individual tone and volume for each pickup would be do able, whether there are occasionally difference in sizes between jazz pickups causing the new ones not to fit and if 250(?) is a lot of output. Thanx for the help.
