I have great plugins and no keyboard so
I use piano roll to input everything.
The only problem is I don't know how to make use of the fact that the plugins can load multiple instruments.. I can't figure out how to input piano roll into the other specific instruments. I hate having to load another instance of the entire plugin. anyone familiar with this program please help if possible.

I'm having the same problem. I just got the program though, so chances are any response would be way above my head.

You can try though!

I have this program and use it quite a bit. But I don't understand exactly what you are trying to do...if you can explain it a bit better and I may be able to help.

I don't remember right off hand how to do that, mainly because I've never really had to use it. Have you looked in the tutorials included with the program?

I think I might remember there being one that explained how to do that.

Also I think there are some preset ones that have many sounds controlled by a single piano roll. You could probably use that, and switch out the sounds to whatever you want. I only have FL 5, but I can check around and try to help you figure it out.

EDIT: Ok, I found the preset ones...in the browser of course
Channel Presets -> Layers

You can switch out the sounds to ones that you want.

(now that you mentioned this I might use it)

EDIT EDIT:
So basically what you do is create a Layer channel by right clicking a channel and highlight "insert channel..." then select Layer. Click on the layer to display the channel settings. There will be a button that says "Set Children". Children are the other sounds being controlled by the Layer. Select the channels that you want to be children and click "Set Children"
(to select the channels you click the little button between the channel name and the steps in the step sequencer.)
Once you have all the children set to the Layer, you simply put your notes in the piano roll of the Layer, and wa la. Multiple sounds controlled by a single piano roll. :thumb:
