Anybody seen this yet?
I kinda want to, because it does look like a pretty good movie, but it also kinda, judging by the previews, seems to be like a rip-off of Dangerous Minds.
Any thoughts on it?

Not just Dangerous Minds but, The Principal, Sunset Park, and Music of the Heart, too.

i dunno the whole theme of teacher trying to change the world and make students want to learn but is beaten down by the system is kinda stale

I liked Dangerous Minds a lot.
My mother took my youngest sister to watch it, and they both said it wasn't that good. But I guess it's because you already know what's going to happen in these movies since they're being made over and over and over again.

Dangerous Minds is one of my favorite movies, which is why I don't wanna see a rip-off.
As for the other movies mentioned, I haven't seen them so I can't judge.

How many movies can they make on the same sort of subject. My mom wants me to go, but I think its just because Patrick Dempsey's in it. I'd much rather see Pan's Labyrinth or Children of Men.

I wanna see children of men so bad. It kinda looks like 28 days later except without the zombies.
