View Full Version : Top Albums of 2006: Poll D Tiebreaker

Vote for one. Both albums are advancing to another round, but this poll will determine which album will automatically go to Round 2 and which will go to the Wildcard round.
I would like emphasise something though. If you do not like either album but you wish for a certain album to not win, **** off. You are skewing the results.

I enjoyed the Tool more than the CC album, so I went with Tool.

This isn't about what band you like more, it's about the specific album from 2006 ****head.
And that's a pretty shitty excuse to vote for a band.

Jake, why did you have to mention voting aginst bands in your post? I was just about to vote for CC for just that reason....

People do that, no lie. Especially when given only 2 options and one of them is Tool.

But they're so overrated! Come on.

I never really considered Cannibal Corpse "music" so Tool by default

I haven't heard Kill, and I thought 10,000 Days is getting too much respect. I'm out of this one.
If I had to choose, though, I'd probably go with Tool. I find their music more enjoyable than the Corpse. But I'm not gonna vote in this one.
I didn't like 10 000 Days any where near as much as Tool's earlier releases, but I still like it more than Kill.

I love both of those albums a ton, but I had to go 10k Days.
People do that, no lie. Especially when given only 2 options and one of them is Tool.
Thank you for saying something about that.

I'm listening to 10 K days for the first time in a while, and I forgot how great it is. That was my obvious choice here...

I honestly didnt see this coming. I thought Tool would have not only been ahead, but by alot.

I think there was probably a number of people who voted CC just to spite the Tool fans. I voted CC myself, but that's because I find myself getting bored during parts of 10,000 Days, whereas with Kill, I don't.

I suppose, even if I think that is the worst reason to pick a choice.
I really disliked Kill for some reason, so I went with 10,000 days. Even though I think its Tool's weakest release.

Wow. Lame.
New Tool wasn't great, but there's no way it can seriously lose to the new CC. Those guys haven't released a good albums since the 90s.

Woot, Tool got beaten down - without my vote as well.
I'm going to see Tool in about a week and I like them. But 10,000 Days wasn't that great IMO, and I want to see it prevented from dominating these polls just because of Tool's popularity.

Same here, would have voted Kill though.
This is a huge surprise.

I really couldn't care less about this as both albums were mediocre at best.

10,000 days.
I wasn't too impressed with Kill.
EDIT: Too late as usual, and Kill won. :(
