Depends which line.
They're a bit feeble unless you get the beefy as hell 1000 series ones.

Well you gotta do what you gotta do if money is tight and that's fair enough.
All I can say is, stagg hardware is not very good at all.
A student of mine had a stagg double bass drum pedal which was fine.. until it fell apart.
Another student bought a stagg music stand which was fine... until it fell apart.
You get the general idea..:smoke:

Stagg 1000 stands are a good centimetre thicker (top section) than pearl 2000's.
Bottom of the line ones are about a centrimetre thick (top section) and flimsy as hell.

all brands have crappy and good hardware. It just depends on how
much money you're willing to shell out.

I FOUND THE KIND: STAGG double braced, basic 25.2 series, light model -
18/10 stainless steel tubes - robust and stable tripod -
oval fixing clamps - usable length of boom arm: 13 in.

They suck. The tubes rotate freely and the boom slips cause its smooth.

They suck. GP has far better cymbal stands than Stagg.

The stagg stand I bought can barely hold the wind chimes I got it for
Obviously it was a lower end one, though

I have two stagg stands, I would say they are intermidate range, they have been sturdy, but now they're starting to fail on me
