Hey everyone so I've been gone for a while but I thought that I would share my good fortune as in one week my BRAND NEW DW drumset will arrive at my front porch. I am painfully excited and filled with the joy of the heavens. I would be honored if you would take the time to view my new purchase. The color scheme may be a bit strange to some but personally I cant be more happy with its uniqueness. I feel that the most of the pictures dont do the finish justice except the close up shot of the rack tom. Anyway enough of my yackin...check it out....

thankyou all for your remarks...i know its a bit out there...but so am I....so I think theyll fit nicely with my personality. Besides my original idea was a tie dye finish...
I know the cost is steep..but theyre DW and I did my research. For a tie dye version of the same drums I be up to about 5 grand so 1500 seemed like a good price.

IMO it would look better if the pattern was larger, I think it only looks decent on the small tom. You can see where it repeats too easy.

i know exactly what you mean...that was my only problem with it but thats why I think that the pictures dont do it justice...but I could be trying to convince myself that the finish is better than it really is. If when they show up and Im unhappy with the finish my plan is to rap them in carpet for a totally weird look. like I said im kinda out there with tastes and I absolutely cant stand finishs that are universal like bold colors and wood grains. I mean theyre ok but I much prefer drums that cause people to look at them....even if theyre incredibly out there...at least theyre looking....you know, much like dennis rodman or marilyn manson...haha jk- but seriously...

oh I will....anyway I was only able to buy it because of a thousand bucks my grandparents gave me for christmas, with a note that read "this money is to help you through college use it wisely". So I figured what could be more wise than using a free grand to buy a dw kit....im so proud of myself...and ill probaly be more proud when i get to college and all ill be able to afford for food is ramen and pop tarts...but whatev
