Hello, as I have recently started up a music blog, I thought why not create a thread to compile and discuss them. Post a link to your music uploading blog and I'll add it to the list. Discuss, request, compare, etc.

This will quickly swarm R&M as the next best thing since the amazing article trend of Summer 2005.

Dont forget the last.fm fad. I think it was SixFootRevolver who made a thread on it, and about 30 of us signed up right then and there.

someone should make a blog dedicated to the various fad bands that we've experienced here. Everything from Opeth awhile ago to Arsis and Mirrorthrone.

Yeah, but see last.fm has stuck around as a neat and easy tool. Last.fm is more for personal use, blogs are purely for others. Remember when there was a 2 month period where there was like 20 mailing lists? There was even one strictly for melo-death. It was ridiculous.

Or we should not have 1978432758757 blogs and make this a new retarded flash in the pan trend.
We already have the daily upload, I don't think we need to shove more pirated music then we already do down peoples throats.

I remember that. I was running the DU and helping KingofTerrors run the melo-death one. Come to think about it, we were pretty stupid. Imagine the trouble we could have gotten into with 20 mailing lists.

Mine wasnt going to upload links, but myspace and band page links. I figure that way its legal and I have nothing to worry about.

What does the person running the blog get out of running the blog?

Nothing really. Just a way to pass the time and express your thoughts. A blog can be about anything. In my case, I am making a blog to help promote bands I like.

I have a blog for some of my bands on MySpace. That's where I put some thoughts. Other blogs are used for sharing information or files. That's what I'm using this one for. I dunno, they can be fun. Just a bit pointless if there's just a bunch of random "I dvna whzt I vannnnnt for K-Mas? Mei life s00ks!"

I hope not, I find blogs full of pirated music really annoying to begin with.

It seems as if I forgot to put a link to the Kamelot discography *shakes fist*. The XIV Dark Centuries album link is on the bottom of the entry though.

Doesn't agree with not-supporting that artists probally. One of the musical elitists? Or maybe he's just a christian :P

I just find it a chore scrolling through pages of crap to find an album I want. They're like filesharing forums but not as good.
