Suggestions?

Right, I'm just about to buy a bass Batter to replace stock. Now I have some money which I can save or spend. (I know what I want!!) If I save I can get either a new ride or crach. Or I could buy some of the following stuff now.

New heads for kit. (Probably wont due to mine being in good cond.)
A Throne, just really unsure what one! (round ones are for me :) and ideas?)
new hardware.
a new snare.(this wont be done too soon - getting cymbals first then tryiing snares)

I was really thinking the throne. If not save a couple of weeks for a new cymbal. I have decent hats, 1 decent crash. One un usable crash, 1 ZXT ride and 1 ZXt China. Please lend me some advice:) Night night

what are your other cymbals?

If it were me, I'd just save up for the cymbal line up that you want, pending neccesary purchases such as heads and sticks (and stands obviously). if your heads sound good and aren't too old then you can wait on those until you gig regularly.

to me it sounds like you need the cymbals, and Especially the ride.
i say save up and buy a ride. and my suggestion for the ride is the paragon, but im sure you coulda guessed that.

Yup^^^ :p. Ok, well I needed to replce my stock bass RESO. So thats done. I'll save for a ride, not too sure what I'll get yet. And then save for a 19" A Custom Crash :D Then snare/china. Cheers

for throne, look into the porkpie and roc n soc thrones. they may cost some extra $$ compared to other thrones but it'll definitely be worth it.

Yeh, does suck lol. I just got myself a Powerstroke 3 Smooth White :) May take a while to order in as the site doesn't stock them. I'm then going to save for a ride, then see wht happens. I should have the dough for a ride in the next week or 2! Thanks for the advice and help! Cheers Jeff, I'll definately look into it :)
