those are Superlux (think audix fusion) mics with CAD DSM-1 mounts... the snare mic is an SM-57. the DSM-1 works great on anything 10" and up, but not so nice on that 8" tom.

thanks! i got it @ a carpet store, just an end scrap piece.

it's berber carpet. the fibers are loops, like the soft part of a Velcro strip (as opposed to regular carpet which is pieces that stick straight up like hair) so that my spurs etc. stick better to it. Never had anything slip on it! much impressed.

toms are Aquarian Response2 (think emperor) over black classic (think ambassador)
Kick is superkick1 batter and Regulator (ported) reso (no pillows and stuff)
Snare is a Remo Reverse Dot over a DW somethingorrather.

Im confused about you hi hat holder. Can you no longer foot the pedal while using the bass pedal?

huh? that's true anyway... that's the drawback of doublebass, beit a double pedal or two kicks. the holder makes it so the legs are out of the way, meaning the hat pedal can be right next to the kick pedal.
