Operator: Hello! Thanks for calling, what can I do for you?
Customer: Hi. I'm calling to ask, "What's the catch?"
Operator: Sorry, sir?
Customer: What's the catch? I read your offer, and it is just too good to be true!
Operator (laughing): Oh no, sir, there's no catch! Our service really does give you everything we say it does! And it's completley free!
Customer (shocked): Really? It's free? Get out!
Operator: However, there is one thing I failed to mention...
Customer (hopes dissapating): Oh? A catch, right? I knew it....
Operator: With your free order, we'll also throw in this incredible bonus item completley free!
Customer: It's Free? YES!!

I mean, they weren't funny the first time

Also:

Old Man: So that's why I never eat crabs! And that ends that story!
Kids: YAAAYYYY! Tell us another one, grandpa!
Old Man: There's a sale at Penny's this week!
Kids: What?????

Starting threads that resort to just saying hi to each other. You're wasting my internet.

I've been off work for a few days because I've been sick, but with christmas and new years and all, I'll only work like 11-12 days this months so I can't wait to see my paycheck :(

He'll buy me a new one, I think.

Problem is, if he buys you a new one, no previous content.

Why do people not get this fact?

I know, I've come to terms with that. No use crying over spilled milk/lost data.

Right..? :upset:

I especially hate the ones (car commercial here) where the kid is like 8 and screaming.

Just shut up.

Then there's the whole thing where they pretend to be drill sergents. Don't they realize how futile their marketing strategy is?
