about this guys sweeeet ride cymbal. it was a was like a china / ride / with a giant bell. it flaired up at the end and you could get it in a ton of sizes because it came with different bell sizes too. like 6inches and stuff for just the bell. the one i played was 22in with 6inch bell. the ride was bright and pingy with a bit of trashy wash. the bell was very loud and clear. it was basically everything i wanted in a ride but i've never been able to find.

I had a dream that I was in a forest. And there were all these hot girls looking at a drumset trying to figure out how to play it. So I walk over and start playing it. Much to my dismay, the drumset is made out of cake...but it's really hard cake. So it just sounds like i'm hitting plastic and I walk away, humiliated.

Before I had a double pedal [a few years ago] I was thinking about them all the time, and that school week, 3 outta the 5 nights I awoke in dreams involving a drumset with a double pedal or dual bass drums. It was so great, like one I was at school in a strange music class, the other was a complete white abyss like the matrix where the gun racks come flying in, but instead it was just a siiiick drumset with a double pedal.

Last night I had a dream that Rush played two sets near where I live, and I kept hassling N. Peart between the sets, and he eventually gave me a brandless cymbal that he didn't use anymore. Then they started covering classical pieces in their second set. The last thing they played was really weird.

In the dream whenever I looked at Neil he was soloing, whenever I looked at Geddy or Alex they were playing YYZ and when I looked away from the stage they were all playing YYZ and Cold Fire simultaneously.

Needless to say, I'm gonna start getting more sleep.

And then the guitarist was like hey guys sorry but travis didnt show up, are there and drummers in the audience. so my friend jumps up and down raising his hand. so theyre like hey come up here. so he gets on stage and he comes up to my friend and says do you need to change the set up. and hes like NO NO NO ITS PERFECT.

I had a dream where I bought a giant ride cymbal. 3/4's of the cymbal was cut off though, so it was like an electric cymbal, with the one quarter of a cymbal leaning in towards you. It was huge though, like the size of a really big water trampoline.
