Okay, so Friday was my band's third jam together. We are a decent group with two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. I am one of the guitarists and depending on the song I play both rhythm and lead. For the last few jams we have just done improvisation stuff and our last jam was promoting a new invention by a friend of mine called Acoustic Lights, or lights for your drum set that light up on the strike of toms, snare, and cymbals.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Afe9omIef8 <- First completely improvised take of the video there for anyone interested. I am on rhythm, bassist switched to guitar as an experiment, and the other guitarist is playing bass.
Well, the reason why I am posting this thread is because I would like to hear everyone's input on what are some good, catchy songs to cover for practice and/or live gigs. The genres we are interested in include funk, improvised blues, a small sample of current rock music, jazz, ska, a small sample of country, and older rock & roll. Suggestions please!
P.S. Suggestions with two guitar parts would be greatly appreciated!

watch out covering some of those songs live...if people dont like the cover, most will automatically hate you (as in yourband).
