He’s hot blooded male,
He’s looking for some action,
Looking for a lover,
She needs his satisfaction,
She’s got something you want,
You’ve got something she needs,
Rock N’ Roll made him famous,
And she’s gettin down on her knees,
When the concert is over,
And he’s leavin the front stage,
The women all surround him,
They all want him to stay,
She’s got something you want,
You’ve got something she needs,
Rock N’ Roll made him famous,
And she’s gettin down on her knees,
The Sex, Drugs, and Rock N’ Roll,
That is his philosophy,
He is livin the good life,
He is livin the dream,
She’s got something you want,
You’ve got something she needs,
Rock N’ Roll made him famous,
And she’s getting down on her knees,
Have you posted this before? and i don't mean yesterday. Just sounds very familiar
But anyway, this sounds like an AC/DC song. That is not a compliment
This is like rock songwriting 101, very basic, no complexity and no subtlety. That's alright if you just want words for a song, but seeing as you posted them, perhaps you're going for a little more?
Check out the S&L writing guide, and try to find something more interesting to write about, i.e. other than sex and drugs and rock and roll.

Sex, Drugs, and Rock N' Roll is what rock is all about. People try to complicate lyrics and sing about suicide or cutting themselves. Or in metal for most cases (which 1/2 the time i cant even understand the lyrics cuz they are screaming) is about hell and demons. All the best rock bands namely Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Guns N' Roses all had lyrics about Drugs, Sex, and Rock N' Roll.

Love your avatar Elim.
This is bad rock n' roll. And there is nothing wrong with literary devices. Don't dismiss what you just don't understand. Alot of this reads like prose. Not so good for a song. Half the damn song is the chorus, too, and it's not catchy.

Thats just a rough draft for the song neways. I will prolly add more to it, and edit it. Its just the main idea for the song. And i dont really pay much attencion to literary devices (i know what they are, i just dont really pay attencion to them), i just go with what fits the song and what sounds BA.
Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Guns N' Roses
Three acts not exactly renownded for their lyricism.
But you seem focused on the sound of the words rather than any meaning so whatever.

Would you guys atleast consider Jim Morrison a good lyricist (cuz he's like my favorite of all time)? Cuz i'm working on some lyrics that are Jim Morrisonesque. I'll post them once I'm finished.

You honestly know nothing about metal. Don't judge. Listen to any black metal band. The lyrics are very indepth with a certain philosophy of cultural passion and the downfall of heatheneous religions. Death metal (the non-gore kind) can be very political in nature and very well potrayed. Metalcore is a lot about everyday problems and the struggles of life amplified. Power metal is commonly fantasy-oriented themes. Metal isn't about hell and demons.
As for the song, Drugs, Sex, and Rock N' Roll has been overdone. Not to say that it's not good to write about, just bring something a bit new to the table and be less "bland" per say.

He had some moments, but on the whole I find his lyrics very pretentious and overblown. And I won't even mention his poetry which was just bad.
