Okay, so lately I've been using fuzz a lot with my bass, I've learned a few Muse tunes, but I'm looking for other songs with fuzz bass. Probably the hardest song I can play is Hysteria, so that's about where I'm at skill wise. I'm not just looking for stuff to learn to play, but just to listen to also.

Check out the Ben Folds Five. While you wouldn't expect fuzzed bass in piano-rock, Robert Sledge made great use out of a Big Muff.

Athletic Automaton and Made In Mexico. Unbelievable tone, and some very cool songs.

123, for sure.
Even Ben's solo stuff has a lot of fuzz bass in it, since he pretty much picked up someone who plays just like Robert did.

Yeah. I think Ben did a lot of the writing for all the instruments in the Five, because that would explain why stuff like Rockin' the Suburbs has similar elements. I think that the two guys who play with him now are mostly just session players.

Agreed. I've been doing the same as the ts, though I'm not into Muse. DFA1979 is in my top 3 bands behind Dream Theater and Megadeth.

You can play whatever songs you want with fuzz whether the original song has it or not,if you think it sounds good that way, play it that way.And I second both Ben Folds Five and DFA,great stuff.
