So, I'm back from holiday travels. Yay. We dumped some recordings from Thanksgiving jams and here's a piece from a jam on Mr.PC. Sometimes people have posted asking what a good walking bassline sounds like. I don't know how good you'll think this is but this is basically how I walk a blues progression... for your amusement :)

Interesting approach, I play this in a quartet we do it a little more like the original but i really like that take on it. Ever gig in the northern/west mass area? I dono what part of NH ur in but im about 10 minutes from the border of the fitzwilliams/rindge area.

sounds a bit like how I do walking bass lines except you clearly like to enter the upper registers more.

I wouldn't consider myself very good at all at this sorta thing basically because I have no idea how you do walking bass lines, do you stick strictly to chromatics or what?
