Amp Question

I need an amp loud enough to be heard over drums for band practice. I really don't want to spend a lot of money, $200 or less would be nice but I'll go to $250 or so. I've looked around and found a few Behringers and Peaveys that are in the right price range, but even after reading reviews I wasn't sure if they'd be what I'm looking for.

Well I have a 305W amp powering my 750W speakers and I can hear them okay over the drums. So I guess look for something around 300W, should do you okay.

? 300W for band practise? no way. I have a 125W amp, and it works perfectly.

$200 won't get you very far in the world of bass amps. If you want to be heard over drums for that much your best bet is a Behringer.
