Guitar Rig 2 -> Audition 1.5

A long time ago I aquired these 2 programs, and I remember at first whenever I tried to load the VST into Audition in realtime, it would crash (To continue working where you left off, please restart Audition), but eventually I got it to work (don't remember how).
Later I got a new comp; same deal, it refused to work at first, then somehow I got it to.
I had to format my hard disk (long story) and reinstalled all my recording stuff, and lo and behold, Guitar Rig 2 and Audition 1.5 aren't agreeing again. Worst of all, I don't remember how I got them to agree in the first place...anyone have a solution? 'Twould be much appreciated.

I used to do that for my guitar tracks. Then I realised doing feedback was a bit tricky :p

I never had any problems with it.

You have an option when installing guitar rig to install guitar rig as a VST and D...XI (i think its a dxi, i never used that one) aswell.

Are you sure you installed guitar rig as a vst?

It's never, EVER not worked for me :/ Theres not much you could do wrong in the process of installing it as VST and apply it over a track in audition. Sorry if that doesnt help.

I'm sure I installed it as a VST, I'll go reinstall it as a DirectX and see if Audition recognizes it...

hehe, salright! i really cant see any problems in what you've said though.

maybe you have the pirate version or something, and thats why it doesnt work. I picked up my copy at a computer fair for half price.

Don't know if that'd really affect things though.

Well this is the same copy I had last 2 installations, and I always got those to work, I just don't remember how. >.>
