ok...new kit question...help plz

I'm thinkin of upgradin my set
So my New Choices are:

1) Yamaha Tour Custom
2) Sonor Force 3005

--(i guess Stage Custom is out)--

between these two choices, what would you pick?

both are all maple i think...
but i've only heard the sound of the Tour Customs
i have yet to hear the Sonor, but i see it around here a lot and it seems to have a good rep

i think the Sonor maybe cheaper by about $300-500......is it worth the extra 300 - 500 to go for the Tour Customs??? i dont know so thats why i came here...i need some help..and plz dont give me a biased answer.....i want to compare these through sound and value because thats what matters

on musicians friend their Sonor Force 3005 is priced as $1,049 (5-piece w/ hardware)
and their Yamaha Tour Custom is priced as $999 (5-piece Fusion Shell Pack)
both have a list price of ---$1599

i guess i could just use all the hardware from my old drum kit...but then my old drums would just go to waste because it has no hardware....hmm

I think you should go to a store and try them out, because that's the best way to buy and compare a drum set. They are both good choices, but yeah, go and try them out. Try others out too!

I think nearly every reply your gonna get is gonna be to "go to the store and try them out yourself" so just do what we say lol.
