Its my 14 x 5 Drouyn Chrome Over Brass sporting a G1 coated and Amb snare side head. No muffling was applied to the drum

just how vintage is it? It looks to be in good shape.

Like the audio, btw, perhaps a little deep for my taste.

Its a late sixties snare drum. The strainer and snare butt only accept snare cord not strap and it has a drum keyholder and internal muffler. (not that I'd actually muffle those lovely ringing tones)

It was a drum that was owned by a girls grammar school and sat unused in a cupboard for thirty odd years , so apart from some girly use It's almost in old new stock conditon

Im okay at tuning. With this tuning I did a full turn around the lugs then did about eight times around the drum with 1/4 turns , it sounded great so I didnt fine tune from there.

its a vintage late sixties Chrome Over Brass Snare
g1 over snare side ambassador. I have been playing for about 6 years

I am 20 , hitting 21 soon
