With that body I'd stain it rather than paint it and I'd go for black or silver hardware

Pickups wise, I'd have warpigs but that's just me. Also, I have some on the way

I agree with Patrick, except I'd put the Dimebag p/ups in there.

I also think you should get a flame maple topwood and stain it burgondy or a deep blue.

Getting locking tuners with a Floyd rose is kind of pointless.

That's why Floyd-equipped guitars have locking nuts.

I'm planning to build one (just as soon as I get some wood), and I wasn't sure which pickups to go for, though I knew I wanted some combination of Warpigs, Nailbombs or Dimebuckers

I've gone for Warpigs because I had the opportunity to get them real cheap
