Hi-res is pointless if the picture quality themselves sucks. The color dithering is bad, all the pictures are blurry....they would actually look much better if you shrunk them down.

12-16-2006, 08:12 PM
man......my computer can't even load those images...firefox basically crashes when I open the main page of this thread. Resize them you ****er.

Haha I have cable and it took about 15 seconds :p

Seriously, Hi Res doesn't count for **** if it's at it's full resolution. If you take that same Hi Res pic and make it about the width of the browser, it will look 10 times better, and we don't have to scroll back and forth just to see the damn thing.

Geesh.

Damo
12-16-2006, 11:26 PM
pics should not need to be any bigger than 1024, preferrably a max of 800px would be sufficient on a forum like this.

Bro, I lag trying to scroll down on these pics.

Is that Black Panthers plural? Blimey, does it not come with a 12x7 maple&cherry snare? Mine did and it sounds great.

1. What do the istanbuls sound like, and where did you find them? Around me I can only find sabians and zildjians with a few of the cheapest sorts of paistes and meinls.

2. What do are fyberskins like, esp. on the bass drum? I got an evans eq3 but it doesnt sound that good? What have you got on the reso head?

Nice kit btw, should've got natural finish like me tho :P

SparBZ
12-19-2006, 03:08 PM
^^

Came with a 12 x 7 Maple and Cherry and a 10 x 5.5 Steel (MassMusic Ily).

1. Istanbuls are amazing. Hand Hammered Brass from Turkey is only the best in my opinion. www.cymbalsonly.com is where I got them. I got a deal from the guy because my teacher's endorsed.

2. The fyberskyns are really jazzy, especially on the small bass.

Transparent Cherry is sex - The wood shows the right amount over a sex colour.

do you wrestle, since im assuming you go to blair because of your keychain, and it says you live 20 minutes from nyc?

SparBZ

Yeah I do, actually. I know all the top wrestlers: Jared Platt, Mario Mason, Ryland Geiger, Adam Hogue, etc..
