I'm whoring them. Their really good. Please check out two of their latest albums,
Kill the Moonlight, and Gimme Fiction.

Anyone into them? They have some pretty distinguished influences, from the Beatles to Prince.

So yeah. :chug:

"Whoring" Spoon is like whoring Pavement or something, everybody knows who they are dude. For the record, I enjoy them immensely, especially their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th album. That was a killah run.

I liked what I heard from Gimme Fiction.

Good band. I tend to whore Pavement to my friends :p

They aren't 'popular' per sey. It's just that all of the people here listen to weird music and know them.

Thats kind of what I meant by popular.

They're pretty good, but really I could only get into Girls Can Tell. I haven't heard A Series of Sneaks.

"per se"

They were on an OC soundtrack, my sister listens to Spoon. Regardless, I still like them a whole lot.

New album is apparently called Trouble Minx and will probably sound like typical Spoon, which I can deal with.

Love Spoon.

Girls Can Tell rules really hard.

You can tell when you love a band immediately when you buy 3 or 4 albums within a few months of getting into them. Such was the case with Spoon for me.

They're O.K., but I haven't heard anything that's held my attention for more than maybe 2 or 3 songs.
