Recording Help

My drummer and I were recording jam sessions using a JVC miniDV Camcorder.

It went belly up on us and we are looking for a new means of recording. Is there anything out there cheaper/easier (but digital, so we can upload the jam to the computer) than a camcorder? I need something that can use a microphone to just record the space sound.
