I was just watching some of the older videos that you at posted on here, (http://sputnikmusic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384425) and I am absolutely in love the sound of your drums. I know that since we have far different kits I won't fully be able to get that tone, but do you remember what kind of heads you had on at that point? I know the Coated CS Reverse dot, but I can't tell whether those are Ambs or Emps on the toms, and I have no idea of the bass. Hopefully you can remember! Thanks in advance:thumb:

remember he runs his drums through a LOAD of processing so that isnt 100% his drum sound... but i agree his set sounds awsome

Most of his vids are never zoomed in enough to see whether it says emp or amb. Also now he has ebony pins on his toms I think.

but i do know he has a coated head on his small piccalo (sp?) tom... everything else is 2 ply i think, clear

I'm still around... Yah on those recordings I believe I was using Amb's over Emp's on the toms, reversed dot on snare and stock DW heads on bass.

As for effects I was only using a 32 band EQ, slight compression over the entire kit and a little reverb.

^Yup... although I switched to the 14's as my main and the 13's as my aux.
