It was OK, some parts were off beat and the screaming was off a bit, but the clean vocals were pretty good.

you need vocal training and more practice with singing clean... try screaming with your gut and not with your throat

what do you mean from your gut? I have read so many threads about screaming from your gut, it makes no sense to me..

breathe in deep and use your stomach or your diaphragm (just below your sternum) to push the air out, you're still using your lungs to breathe but you're using your stomach muscles to push the air out. the next time you cough you might feel your midsection tense up... kinda similar to using your diaphragm

ok you know when i scream "ill try" at the begenning, and then I scream "she said as she walked away" well u no wut heres a better example, you know avenged sevenfolds new album? how he screams completely different, do I scream like that but really hard? is that screaming from ur gut?

When you scream you should be putting everything you've got into it. No half measures, you sound like your whispering a little. It has to be as loud as you can go. Your singing voice is good though.

I can understand how you'd get confused, haha your stomach doesn't exactly do any of the singing. Yo need to use your midsection to aid you in singing better. You don't just flex your abs and a note comes out, you have to take the top part of your stomach and push it up into your chest, almost the same motion you make when you're puking but it's not exactly the same, you're not pushing your stomach up, you're squeezing more air out with other muscles than your chest. Once you've gotten used to belting out those notes without a strain, start with as little strain as possible, the less you have to do with your throat to sound cool when you scream the better... you're less likely to mess up your voice. I'd say before you actually start screaming, you should take 3 months worth of vocal training so you know how to hold your notes better and breathe properly. kinda get the feel of what you're supposed to do when you sing and then make a few adjustments to get the sound you want

Actually he didn't have throat surgery, he just stopped screaming cuzz they wanted a knew sound... but I understand what you mean

why would you lie about having surgery and then come back and say "actually it wasn't surgery, i'm just too cool to scream and sing as good as i did before"
