does anyone have any idea what kind of effects chick corea (or the other pianists for that matter) were using on the rhodes in bitches brew? im pretty sure it was a moog, perhaps a ring modulator?

I'd be interested to know this as well.

I have no idea, though.

I always thought Herbie and Chick just played their Fender Rhodes, although I could be wrong. If anybody expiremented with effects, though, it would have been Herbie. The only effect I've ever heard Chick use is a wah.

Herbie Hancock didn't play on Bitches Brew. I believe most of the weird effects was from Zawinul who toyed around with his Rhodes like crazy. He also played the organ on it.

It sounds like he uses a few different effects during the whole romantic warrior album, but I could be wrong.
