This is my band called "Through the Fist". we recorded our first demo last summer. sense then, our singer quit and our other guitarist has pretty much tooken over on vocal duties.

tell me what you think about our stuff. our style has started to change to more of a metalcore sound. we have a bunch of new songs that we havent recorded yet.

That sounds pretty good guys, could be a little more tight, but the music is good. Is that all home recorded?

thanks. no, that was recorded at a studio over a period of like 13 hours.

before you guys start recording again try a couple of things:

writing sessions:
take one song and throw all your current ideas into it, if they're not the same key... transpose em. Make sure that before you move on to writing a new song that you make your current one the best it possibly can be... take em one at a time

Recording:
before you even think of going into the studio again and spending money you want to make sure that each member of the band is near flawlessness in musicianship. You might also want to know what everyone else is doing so you don't steal their spotlight or anything like that, it's the worst when you listen to something you've spent hours on and realize you're doing something wrong...
