installing an EMG 81

i have a jackson rr3 and i want to replace the bridge pickup to an EMG81. sense those are active pickups, will i have to replace the neck pickup (stock) with an active pickup for everything to work correctly?

Your best bet is to fit two actives

Personly on my RR3, i fitted a dimebucker in the bridge and left the neck stock
