Alright, sorry about this being a day late, been working.

If you're new to the mailing list concept, here's how it works:
Every day or so an email will be sent out to everyone on the list. Our goal is to include 5 albums per day. In the email will be links to albums that have been uploaded by you, your fellow MXers, and myself. We will all have the benefit of hearing bands we might never have been exposed to. In addition you may find that album you've been searching for forever or find something you'd been meaning to check out.

If you would like to be on the mailing list, post your email address and then contribute to the discussion as you receive the emails. Posting ONLY your e-mail address without leaving a comment will NOT be tolerated. It's not hard to say "Thank you" or something else along those lines, but do NOT just put down your e-mail address, or you may be passed over.

This is a forum after all, so please post comments and discuss the music that you have downloaded. If you never post in the thread I may remove you from the list. DO NOT come in the thread complaining that you aren't getting the emails anymore if you've been sent links for all these albums and haven't bothered to post anything!

Yousendit has the best download speeds but the links expire after 100 downloads.

If you upload something for the mailing list, it would be helpful if you'd please include a description of what you've uploaded as well as the links. Reviews and links to band websites are great to go with an album. Please at least try to include the genre!

Some of the uploads may be in .rar format. To unzip these, download the RAR client, which can be found here (http://www.rarlab.com/).

I'd prefer to send out a daily edition, except on weekends, where I'll just send out a weekend edition on Sunday night, as I'm never usually here on weekends.

I would like to send out 5 albums a day, but that might be too much with the way everyone has been participating. I will upload whenever I can, but some nights I won't have much time. I will also be going with a weekend edition since I work pretty much every weekend and on Sunday nights I have lots of time to go on the computer. So and issue will be sent out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and a 15 upload Sunday Issue. In some of these Sunday issues I would also like to try and send out some Christmas-y type albums, so if bands do Christmas CDs, I would love to receive them, and I will save them for a Sunday Issue. Please state that it is a Christmas album.

If you wish to be removed from the list, do not post it in this thread. Send me an email, it's easier that way. Adding yourself on I'm not too worried about though.

I uploaded an album back in September that I think I have to upload again. These guy's are just about to break out and deserve some props.
Check out their myspace: (http://www.myspace.com/attackinblack) if you like before you download, although the songs up there are a little softer then their self-titled I am uploading, but they are still great tunes and will give you a sense of what they sound like which can be compared to Rise Against, Strike Anywhere, The Bronx, and Refused.

Just to check the self titled is the one that starts with 'Better off dead' and then has 'Dressed to kill', right?

It says 'New found Glory' and then the album name is 'special edition' so i assume its just the self titled.
