I don't know the advantages, I've never taken liquid acid. I know it's stronger and generally more pure and safe than tabbed acid, and I think putting it in your eye probably gets it into your blood stream quicker than eating it, so you feel the effects quicker.

I'm in three bands now, it seems. My friend and I started an acoustic guitar + keyboard emo band today, which actually has potential if it doesn't get bogged down in gimmick. It sounds like acoustic Cap'n Jazz + Jawbreaker, plus keyboards. My roommate said we sound like a folky Antioch Arrow.

Today I went to Walmart at 5 am to get a Wii because I was told by employees last week and informed by their ad on Sunday that they'd have them when they opened at 6 am. I stood in line and got a ticket with a number, ensuring me a Wii. When it was 6 am, the manager came out and informed everyone that the ad said they weren't on sale until 8 oclock, which was a blatant lie. He was also acting like a total dispshit ****face and told us to shop and wait till 8.

The other people in line complied like sheep.

I had to go to ****ing school and my dad to work; I didn't get one. We were the only ones to even tell him that he was lieing. People are ****ing stupid pieces of ****.

Alot of wasted batteries on Microsoft's part.

I got the premium 360 package, and after about 2 weeks of pretty moderate gaming, my original batteries stopped working. I figured if I'd have to change them that much, it'd be worth it to get the quick charge kit thing. It came with a rechargeable battery pack and the recharger for it which can charge two of the packs at once. Seems like a good investment.

My favorite book is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

Awesome book. I read it in one day during a car ride across the country. I'm currently in the process of reading The Great Gatsby, The Rum Diary, and Teenage Liberation Handbook: How to Quit School and Get a Real Job and Education.

Yeah but that's iddferent, as far as music goes, people have been rampantly downloading music for the beast four years and the music industry is still on it's legs. I'm talking about how the major labels always whine about that type of stuff.

But even underground independent music, most revenue from that has come from touring and merch sales other than music anyways.

My understanding of how chain stores work is that a person will purchase the rights to a name or soemthing, and then build the store. I thinkth at's franchising, and as far was Wal Mart goes the one here has a picture of then owner and he's not the guy that runs Wal Mart. So I feel that when you shoplift, even from big corporate store, you're not stealing from them, you're taking away from the business owners first.

You are so wrong. Cassettes?? C'mon man, get real. Just because a cassette tape is a little smaller than a CD doesn't mean its better in any way. CDs have the best sound quality. And you can praise downloading music all you want but nothing beats going into a record store and finding a CD you've been really wanting to get.

Something cannot be obsolete when it first comes out if it generally improves on what was previously available.

1) Better digital sound quality
2) Better portability (Carrying 5 CDs is easier than 5 Cassettes)
3) Long Lasting (A CD cannot be destroyed as easily as a tape, especially by the playing devices)
4) Easier to use, ability to skip songs

Wow, where are you going that CDs are upwards of $20? Because I can get brand new CDs for $9.25-$12.00

My local store has a sweet used CD section. The vinyl section is good too, but doesn't have a lot of used Punk/Alt./Indie albums. The new vinyl is usually more then new CD's, and the new CD's are about 10-13 bucks.

Records are genuinely better than CD's. Records are usually cheaper, come with more full inserts/artwork, have a better sound than CD's, and most importantly, most bands release stuff on 7" that NEVER make it to CD. By listening to records, you can get more music by certain artists. Records are the backbone to underground "punk" music. In most all cases, it's easier for me to find Haymaker, Dropdead, or Infest on vinyl than on CD. S'hit, i've never even seen Infest on CD.

You know the residents, right? Clubfoot Orchestra was a band on their record label in the 80's. They did strange orchestral stuff (think anti-social music, if you know who they are). It's really great.

I have taken a song that was taken from vinyl to tape, and then put it on the computer through a line-in. I can stand the quality, but I'm sure if someone downloaded it from me, they'd be pissed.
