I'm ambidextrous, actually, but my left hand has always been stronger.

I write and play bass/guitar like a righty, though. I write with my right hand because I went to Catholic elementary school and when they taught me to write, they'd whack my left hand with a ruler if they caught me writing with it, so I was trained to write with my right hand.

I play bass/guitar righty, too, because I knew finding left handed isntruments was a bitch so I sucked it up and taught myself to do it righty.

Everything else I'm a lefty, though. I only use my right hand for those 2 things, basically, and only because I was 1) forced to and 2) forced myself to do so to make life easier for me.

Being ambidextrous rules, though.

< 5% of the world population is ambidextrous, too, I think.

I tried a few days ago, like 5, and I had this severe, deep, sharp, burning pain all around my wrist, thumb, and lower arm (to my elbow).

I'm giving it more time but I don't think it's really in the cards anymore.

But yeah, seriously, I wish I could explain how unbearable the pain was. I can't even really lift heavy stuff with my left hand anymore because of the strain and pain it gives me.

I write with my right hand, but people tell me my handwriting is so horrible because I write like im a lefty, and I never knew what that meant until somebody explained that left-handed writers usually start their letters at the bottom, like my o and R and I.

Yeah, when I had to play baseball in gym, I would bat/pitch lefty.

When I played basketball (I was actually really, really good at basketball) I dribbled mainly with my left hand.

But, like I said, I'm ambidextrous, so I can bat/pitch and dribble/shoot with either of my hands. It was awesome in basketball; I was a point guard since I used to be really short and would dribble up righty so the defender would try to force me left and favor it. Little did he know...

I averaged like 16-18 points a game with at least 2-3 assists.

I remember one game I got like 27 points, 3 blocks, 2 steals, and 9 assists.

My three point shot used to be lethal.

Nah, I still wouldn't be able to slap/pop, tap, or pluck with my fingers.

I don't use picks for bass, so..

Also, when strumming guitar, my wrist hurts a lot. I use my arm to strum but for some reason my wrist muscles burn when I do it.

It's just going to have to take time.
