I'm afraid I won't be much help though because I've always hated those. I would change to a new bass.

funny thing is i was gonna buy a Schecter 5 string but i owe my dad 200 dollars and my brother 250 so its gonna be a while.

new bridge...those three point bridges don't seem too adjustable as farr as action and stuff goes.

i agree with SoM, id switch for a different bass. i dunno i really really dont like those for some reason, each to their own though

Wow, I used to own a Thunderbird, and I never realized they have emgs.

Anyways, I would change the bridge for something better. The standard bridge isn't adjustable at all. Maybe a new neck as well. I hated the feel of it, and it always dived.
