Do you keep your guitar in a case or in the open?


Yeah, i change my strings every 2-3 months, the sound just gets so stale. I do play quite a bit, too. Normally between 10-20 hours a week.

Yeah I keep it in the case, To much dust has collected on it just from playing it.

I play on avg. about 3-6 hours a day. I sit at my computer playing guitar and posting here.

So, I'm sitting in Social Studies class, listening to music on my headphones, while people are presenting projects. All of a sudden, I hear someone say something about "Punk Fashion" I look up, and these two retard ladies were doing their project on "Punk Fashion". I didn't say anything, just listened. The posterboard was scatered with pictures of those new **** pop punk bands all over it. The pictures were even diagramed. After the five or so minutes of presenting, my Social studies teachers takes over. She is an old bag of which is seriously quite stupid. She starts talking about what she thinks "Punk Fashion" is, blah blah blah. Then they asked for questions. I raised my hand and asked, "So, just answer me this. What is Punk? And what does fashion have to do with Punk? It isn't a fashion, is it?" They laughed, I laughed at them, but made it sound like I was laughing with them, and the presentation ended.

fastfingers, i kinda get what your saying. i repect people too when they stand up for themselves and take no s hit, but not when it involves the deaths of innocent kids. not everyone who was killed at colombine was a dick to these kids... they were just fed up with them so they took it out on the whole school. they even killed one kid cause he was black and a teacher. eric harris and dylan klebold were fed up with a group of kids, so the whole school had to pay the price? i dont think that that is something to praise. they killed kids with their whole lives ahead of them. its not right when you are brutally killed at the age of 17 for something another kid did. this is why i think that these 2 kids dont deserve ****

yeah i guess it differs in personality. im the type of guy who shrugs off insults and is kinda laid back about stuff. there can also be a kid who if anybody says a neghative word toi them go shoot up the school (like in this case). im glad you responded to this. its been a long time since there was a smart debate here.

They didnt do it because someone said a negative word to them, these kids were smart, and they took everything into consideration.....they didnt just do it to get the 'bullies' back... Maybe they were gonna kill themselves but they wanted to be remembered, hell it worked, like i said they're gods, and i dont believe they were really racists, just because they said 'Pikaboo" then shot the guy doesnt mean they hate kids, not that that made any sense or anything....i think they just used it as an excuse to kill people, or to live in infamy and be looked down on, or something, they deserve more credit, they were smart kids and they knew what they were doing..

Vinyls have more of a sentimental value more so than cds. I mean anyone can have a big cd collection. But to have a nice vinyl collection is... (to steal a line from OpRan) orgasmic.

I love vinyls they give you something to be proud of. :)

I never got into the whole vinyl thing. But I feel the same way about burning CDs I prefer to have the original and when I make a compilation I like using tapes.

yeah thats definitely true, i wayyyyyy prefer havnig the real CD to the copied version, i have about 80-ish CD's and 2 of them are copied. my friend has about the same amount of CD's, 2 of them are real.
