Read the new Peart book...How many here have?

Well, the show that Neil talks about from 1981 in Hollywood Fl. where there was a "near riot" as he put it (there was an actual riot) I was ta. I had a front row seat and this pic is the actual ticket that I have kept since then:

When I read that paragraph concerning the show, I was amazed. I am contemplating writing him and letting him know that I never got into that show....Seen every tour since then and haven't gotten a front row seat since. Back in those days you couldn't buy whatever seat ya wanted. It was a luck of the draw kinda thing....Not like today. So, given that, the next tour -if there is one-I don't cae what the cost, I am either front row or somewhere within the firat 10 rows....

That's cool. Neil used to reply to every single piece of fan mail he got.. then the internet got popular. But you never know, you may get a reply, it's pretty interesting stuff

The book is amazing...I find them all amazing as I have always wanted to meet Neil. For him to share his life experiences through his writing really impresses me....Especially being such a reclusive kinda guy...

Like I have said before, I am not a big reader and I finish his books in a matter of 3-10 days...Can't get enough...

I would really like to read the book, looked for it a couple times at some bookstores and they didn't have it.

Call your local Barnes and Noble...If they have it they will pull it off of the shelf and hold it for you for a week...If not order it directly off the web.
