Hey, SO I decided To Carry on the tradition this year (I know someone out there in MX land is gonna kill me for beating them to the chase)
But yah, it just struck 12:00 here so that means it's December 1rst, and it's time for the OFFICIAL christmas list thread, I know we had another one not to long ago, but that was a fake lol.
So yah, I think you all understand the concept, you post want you want, or what you're getting and then on Xmas day we do a return to this thread and post what you got lol, see who got what they wanted :)
I myself would like
New Throne
Double Pedal (Gibraltar Intruder)
Drum Sticks
Thats really all i want, I am really low on Sticks so I'm hoping to pull some off for Xmas. (aalthough I am buying some this weekend haha)
Also, with the money I have just recieved I will be buying a New 12" head, sticks, And Then buying X mas presents lol.
SO post away, and Merry Christmas to You all.

i just want them to wait until after summer when i'll have half the amount of money i need to buy the kit i want. they agreed to loan me the other half.

I am hoping for just gift certificates to L&M. That way I can get me some heads. Not 100% sure what ones yet so thats why the gift certificate. If I have anything left over i'll probably buy a stick holder and some sticks, and maybe a wicked throne?

-14" amb coated
-14" hazy snare side
-new batter and reso heads for bass (not sure what though)
-either piccolo toms (?) or a 10" SCA tom
-18" Wuhan riveted china (I'm going to use my money to buy it)
I highly doubt I'll get most of that stuff anyways (besides the china and maybe the 14" heads). Like aaron, what I would really want is just enough time to spend with family and friends. That's the most important gift you'll ever get.

I'd love plenty of things, but the only thing I'm really pulling for are sticks.
Since my birthday's ALSO in December [on the 19th], I have 2 chances...but my parents probably arn't hooking me up.
I put a birthday/Christmas wishlist on my myspace [OMGZ GEEKZOR] for my buddies, with the following at the bottom of the list:
~Drumsticks [Vic Firth, Vater or Japanese Oak if you can find 'em, size 5B]
Verbadum.
But I'm not getting my hopes up, the only ones who'd be able to do that are the ones who go up to Tucson or the ones in Japan...of which there's only 1 actually sending me something [she freaking rocks, hard].
Ah well.
Maybe I'll get birthday/Christmas money.
Or maybe my parents will decide to be awesome and get me like a $50 GC giftcard [they do giftcards more now that I'm getting older].

I didn't really DO anything for it.
We were flying to Canada that day, actually, snowboarding in Whistler for Christmas.
But you know.
Girls and their 16th birthday.
Drivers license and all [even though I didn't get mine til August...didn't even get my permit til March].
Getting older, blah blah blah.
More freedoms.
Expensive birthday present.
And so on, etc.

What's special about being 21? You kidding me?
You can legally drink.
Which for me isn't special, because I can drink anyway, but for other people.
And you won't get arrested or nothin', which is very much cool.

Yeah.
Its like.
16 to drive.
17 to see R-rated moves and buy parental advisory CDs
18 to vote/rent a hotel room/enter contests/buy porn/have it not count as statutory rape/be tried as an adult/do most adult things
21 to drink
And 25 to rent a car, but nobody celebrates that.
25 is also the age at which your car insurance goes down, but nobody celebrates that either.
It DOES keep things interesting, getting new rights [privilages] all the time.
I didn't even know people in the UK celebrated 21.
Weird.

that is the stupidest law ever, you should be able to rent a car at 18, or 21 at the least, you can fight in a war, drink a beer, and smoke when your 21 and are a legal adult, but you cant rent a car, that makes absolutely no sense.
When my parents were 22 they flew from MD out to Arizona and planned to rent a car and drive out to California(they were unaware of this gay 25 year age limit, they figured they were 21 they could rent a car), so they had to just stay in Arizona, totally ruined their trip

my parents dont hate me playing drums, they just dont like the money i put into it. i spent $450 aus on tama cobra jnrs and meinl amun ride and my mum has decided thats enough for atleast a year, and i still have like another $500 or $600 left.

Christmas and birthdays are awesome for getting stuff you couldn't normally afford. Over the years I've gotten heads, a throne, stands, it's awesome. This year I'm getting a nice new ride (though it counts for both my Christmas and birthday present), and a few sticks too (cause a couple pairs lasts me a little more than a year).

No its not stupid. 65% of people who drive have at least one accident before they are 25. It halves every 5 years after that. safety and health is more important than convenience.
