So I'm actually making a serious thread for once.

I would like to know if anyone knows of any bands along the lines of The Lyndsay Diaries or I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business or other similar bands. I know Jon might know some so if you see this :)

Anyways yeah discuss these types of bands recommend these types of bands etc.

The Lyndsay Diaries (Scott Windsor, currently in the band Umbrellas)

http://www.purevolume.com/thelyndsaydiaries
http://www.myspace.com/thelyndsaydiaries

I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business (Ace Ender, singer of The Early November)

http://www.purevolume.com/icanmakeamesslikenobodysbusiness
http://www.myspace.com/3950044

ps: I will reply to every response in this thread to make you feel special.

Unless you're a tool or have lame opinions in which case I won't :)

Feeling Left Out
Remember Maine

FLO is from Rhode Island (I think) but I'm fairly sure they broke up...either that or it is no longer a duet but a solo project

Remember Maine is the leader singer from The Academy Is...'s old side project. It's how he was found. It's way better than his stuff with TIA.... Check it out. I suggest "The Hunt Club" or "The Gap Effect."

If I don't find anything on soulseek by tomorrow I'm hunting you down.

I have some feeling left out going, or at least trying to. I can't find any Remember Maine at all.

And Cassino is coming up with some very odd things.

I hate trying to download music from fags who can't tag their files :(

Edit: I have two Remember Maine albums going now :)

I will nig. It won't be until tomorrow likely.

I have to go to bed soon because I've been missing my first period class lately from sleeping in too much. One day I even missed a whole school day because I slept through my alarm and all day.

I like Mike Park too

and everything acoustic, mostly

I hate Matt Skiba's voice.

I don't think it would suit acoustic music at all, and IIRC (it's been a while) it doesn't.

Download the song

´Good Fúcking Bye´ By Matt Skiba, I think it sounds quite good
without the accent of course, that was only to bypass the censorship

Being a Mainer I am intrigued by and band called Remembering Maine, whats a good song to pull me in??

Though alot of people hate his voice/him, I think Tom DeLonge would make a great solo acoustic album. (Tom from 5 years ago, new Tom sucks) I love the very little acoustic stuff he's done. What Went Wrong is great song, and all the songs he wrote for blink started out on acoutics...

Hunt down Daphne Loves Derby's self-titled album and their new acoustic EP. They used to be an acoustic band, but when they got signed they went more electric. Some good stuff.

I think Fall Out Boys acoustic ep is the best music that Fall Out Boy has made.

The Starting Lines acoustic ep is awesome to. I really like acoustic Eps

I have both and have had both for a long time Kifster :)

And TSL is awesome.

What Went Wrong is a good song but any more would be repeptitive.

I´m not a huge Yellowcard fan but their acoustics are really good.
Rough Draft is one of my favorite acoustics ever.

and TSL is really sick live I thinks

When I made this thread I was hoping for more obscure bands, not extremely obvious ones.

I don't mean to be harsh but yeah.

i though it was okay but most of the songs sound the same. its just for little kids to think dallas green is an amazing musician cause he owns an acoustic guitar, when its the more generic acoustic album ive heard in a long time.

The Grace is a Neverending White Lights song that he sings on. Daniel Victor wrote the music and lyrics.

Oh, and if you're looking for more obscure acoustic stuff, check out Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. Some of his songs are pretty good.
