I've been listening to Volcano a lot recently, it's really good. It's like P!ATD without the constant choruses and hooks.

Does anyone else here heard them? If so, what are your opinions on them?

GAD is good. I prefer Ribbons and Sugar or whatever it's called. I don't listen to them much anymore though :(

Ah okay, it'll be next on my "to listen" list.

Theatre is a bad *** song.

I really enjoy this band as well. I've never really thought of them as pop-punk though. Volcanoes is very good, as well as their last self-titled CD.

I'm realling digging the song "We can remember it for you wholesale", very nice little tune.

Sugars & Ribbons > Volcano

Its more interesting and not as poppy.

Nerds like music in cool time signatures.

Since Gav dislikes GAD, one might infer Gav is not a nerd

But we all know that's horribly, horribly wrong.

I'm new to pop punk, I just have a random couple of albums and things I like. I'm not even "big" on Gatsby, I only have Volcano and I haven't listened to it for months anyway

Are there any other essential albums I need?

I forgot how much I liked the intro to The Guilt Engine
