Have you seen the movie Babel? What about it's music?

If anyone saw the movie Babel, the soundtrack is amazing. Throughout the film there is sort of a middle eastern guitar picking instrumental thing happening. The reason I bring it up is I'm trying to find music that sounds similar to it. It doesn't have to be the same exactly, just similar. I'm not even sure where to start looking.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I checked all that out. Unfortunately, most of the artist's other music doesn't quite fit the bill. I was hoping someone could point me in a kind of a "sounds-like" direction.
