Hey there guys!
I've decided to spend wharever money I get in me up and coming birthday and christmas on doing up my trusty Stingray. I plan to do things like straplocks, Hipshot, new pots and I am going to do up the pickguard.

I definately would like a custom design on the guard, to make her mine.
What I was thinking about doing was creating a "scrap book" effect, by sticking down pictures of musicians that have infulenced me (such as Jimi, commerford, Marley, etc) as well as albums covers that have done the same.

I was just wondering, what would be the best way to get these pictures onto the actual pickguard and keep them on?

Thanks in advance.

I would get a normal pickguard of your choice, decoupage the pictures/covers, and clear coat it.

That's a pretty cool idea. :)

I would buy two pickguards, of the thinnest size you can get. One of them black or white (doesn't matter, I guess), and then securely put all the pictures on that. Then have the other pickguard clear, and put that on top. Then screw it on! I think it'd look really awesome.

This is an ace idea!
The normal + pic/stickers + clear idea sounds the best.

you could also do similar to as said above but buy some thin plexiglass. Glue what you want on the one and then sandwhich theother one on top.

If you wanted to be proper arty, you could get your pictures, photocopy them onto asstertait, then use image maker to transfer them onto the pic guard.

I think, i actully cant rememver how to do it.

The other suggestions are better, i just wanted to show off my arty farty ness.
