Strike Anywhere !!

I went to see them in Camden Friday night, not sure if anyone else here went to the show but I thought they were just truely amazing, they played a lot from "Change is a sound" so I was well happy. Last time I saw them was a good 3 years back at Deconstruction when they blew everyone away then.

Good show and The Loved Ones were a good opener !!

I know a bunch of people who I consider to have respectable taste in music who love Strike Anywhere, but I could never get into them. I don't know, they sound sort of like a Rise Against lite to me.

I got into them at the same time as Rise Against and so I tend to closely associate the two. Regardless, Strike Anywhere is a pretty talented band. Change is a Sound is fantastic, and their other stuff isn't bad either.

I keep hearing about The Loved Ones every show I go to, and all I hear is good things. I assume they're a local Philly band, but I've yet to check them out.

I don't really like them. They seem like cool and nice guys from what I've read about them but I just don't like them musically.

There pretty good. I've got all 3 albums of theirs, CIS being my favorite, but Dead FM is pretty good too imo. Saw them live w/ Ignite and MLIW and I honestly liked Ignite a lot more than SA, and I like SA better on album too.

Yeah I'd prob pick MLIW of the 3, but they had a short, early set and not as many ppl were into them. Plus, I've seen them before when eeryone was going crazy and they had a better set...
