Almost had you, but I guess that doesn't cut it. Almost loved you, but I didn't even know it. You kept me guessing and now I'm destined to spend my life missing you. I almost wish you would have loved me too.

I'm definitely digging this song.
It's so cheesy and poppy, but the lyrics are kind of sad.

I'm looking for some others, so what are your favourite pop punk love songs?
Post some of the lyrics so others can get an idea if they haven't heard the song.

And I miss you

I haven't been this scared
In a long time
And I'm so unprepared
So here's your Valentine
Bouque of clumsy words,
A simple melody
This world's an ugly place
But you're so beautiful to me

That and basically every Saves The Day song ever.

Most of the songs on that album are actually more about girls screwing him over. But Based On A True Story has some great ones. "Bedroom Talk" and "Stay Where I Can See You." I take it back, "Stay Where I Can See You" is probably my favorite.

Wish I could wait till I see you shaking
Wish I could wait to pull out of this one fast
Wish I coulld wait till I taste your flavour
Then maybe I could savour every last drop

And I said to wait till I hit the ground harder
Wish I could wait, to hear, to hear your heart beat fast
I wish I could wait till I see you shaking
My days are numbered here and I don't want to be the last one home

FOR ABOUT AN HOUR
MAYBE JUST A MINUTE
JUST TO ASK WHAT HE'S GOT THAT I DON'T HAVE

AND, HEY, IF YOU WANT ME TO

Yeah, and Logan to Government Center is amazing if you're from Boston, too, since Logan and Government Center are stops on our subway system.

Logan = the airport
Government Center = a stop in Boston

I guess Jesse rode the T once, then (we don't call it the subway; we call it the T).

I listen to that song a lot when I'm taking a train to Government Center. :D

It was a totally dope show. I kinda coulda done without the 15 minute noise solo though. I felt that time couldīve been spent playing logan haha

Yeah, wtf was that all about?

Yeah, basically, the first band was on and I was standing outside, having a cig. My friends already went in but I had half my cig left to finsh so I was planning on going in after.

So I see Jesse walk out to the tour bus and thought nothing of it. I figured he gets stuff all the time so I'd just ignore it.

So he goes in and comes out a few minutes later with a white plastic bag. I think it was takeout or something.

Anyway, as he's walking by, I couldn't help but say something. I was like, "Hey, Jesse."

He ignored me and kept walking. So, thinking quickly, I said,

"I loved your work with Kevin Devine."

He stopped, turned around, and was like, "You heard it?"

I was like, "Cotton Crush is one of my favorite songs, man."

So he stopped walked back, pulled out a pack of cigs, and offered me one.

I couldn't say no.

So I tried talking to him for a bit but it was mainly one word responses. I guess he's just really shy and doesn't like people much. He likes to keep to himself.

I hope next time I see him I can coax out a good convo, though. We just chit-chatted about music for a bit.
