It probably does to you, but being the complete antithesis of California I really really liked it.

That's true. California sucks, though. Everyone knows the best place on the west coast is Seattle.

But yeah, come back sometime in the winter (like early-mid January) and you'll see WHY it sucks.

Seattle's nice but its definitely not the best place on the west coast.
California rules you faggots. Better bands, better kids.

It's still better than being named Niko.
Being named Niko is better than being named Gavin...

My friend had a dog named Niko once. They put it down because no one liked it.
When I first meet people and introduce myself, the first thing people usually say when they hear my name is, "That's a cool name" or something along those lines.
Scott: I have two hands and they're both functional in day to day activity. I just can't play bass or guitar right now. Big whoop.

11-24-2006, 04:53 AM
Oh.
I played guitar for a few hours today.

Your name is ****ing gay as ****, whereas Nikolas is one of the most common names you'll encounter.

I take it that your spelling of "Nikolas" is pronounced like that of "Nicholas."
I was just wondering because I am Nikolaus.

Gavin is a sweet name.
Common =/= good
Spelling "Nicholas" as "Nikolas" is like a guy named Matt insisiting he be called "Mati" with an i. It's one of the msot homosexual things you can do.
cobert
11-24-2006, 03:39 PM
Not really. Its more like Matthew being spelled as Mathew.
Matt?

How does Niko pronounce Nikolas though?
bottlerocket
11-24-2006, 05:21 PM
Probably like Nicholas.
cobert
11-24-2006, 05:24 PM
Well I dont see anything homosexual about that.
But in other news, I heard a story the other day about a guy that everyone calls DM for his first and middle initials, because his actual first and middle names are Doyle Merlin.

I'd love to live in an idiot-free state. Hell, I'd settle for an idiot-free school. I'd even go so far as to say I'd be 100% content with an idiot-free hall in my dorm.

that show slayed.
there was some like amazing band that opened, and they and the children were boss and they pretty much made me question why i had never seen them before this. people went nuts during bravo, and they ruled as normal.
only bummer: someone stepped on my glasses during transistor -power chord acadamy

I've seen a few shows at the Theater and have spent many a summer night hanging down at Redstone. Thankfully the shitty place I live now is only about an hour away so I still go back on a lot of weekends.

Yeah, man, good times there.
I remember we used to go mini golfing at Hago's, grab food at BK, and then head to Redstone because there was nothing to do.

There's a sub shop next door to my apartment here called Dinas. They have 2 large cheese pizzas for $12 or something, so that's my pizza place of choice.

Is it on like a corner? Has a scratcher machine next to the entrance? I think I ate there. It was way good.
