I have a gig lined up and i want to bring my "good" drumset, meaning i need some cases for it. I would rather CHEAP, they don't have to be hard cases, just something reasonable.
I have 22", 14", 14", 12," and 10"

I also need cheap cases. I've heard some good things about gater cases. Any experience with them?

PR = Relatively Cheap and Good Protection.

hmm, ok. i cna't find any place online selling the drum cases by PR. MF has a hardware bag and cymbal bag. The $130 price on the hardware bag makes me think these might not be all that cheap...

yeah i see the fusion set on MF for $130, seems like a good deal. How careful do you have to be with the drums when they are in those bags? Obviously not dropping, but what if you tap a doorway on the way in or out ofsomehwere?

they should cope with that, be useless if they didnt...
Do you plan on using this kit more often? It would seem pointless to worry about cases right now if you don't.

Stagg cases are pretty cheap. i don't know how much they cost. all i know is to i could buy them for a six piece (22" 10" 12" 13" 16" 14") for like $700. just to throw it out there.

Protection racket are awesome. I think they've recently gone up in price quite steeply though.
