This is a new band that just came out! Their singer is from filter and their two guitarists are from stone temple pilots and the drummer was a leading session drummer. Anyone heard of them?

This is the link to their new music video "Goodbye."
Just wondering what people thought about them as a band and what they thought about the drummer. Has anyone heard of him before?
I love his hi-hat ride cymbal bell groove during the chorus. What do you guys think. He does some cool fills towards the end of the song too.

They aren't bad but Richard Patrick better release the Filter album he had been working on! I was a little pissed when he put it on hold for this.

i made a thread about this a week or 2 ago... i really like his stuff... he is very clean and plays well muscially... the only thing i didnt like after getting their cd last week is that alot of their songs sound relativily the same

its a learning video, over half of the video was him doing the same thing at faster tempos...

i've always liked some of the STP and Filter stuff, proably because they were some of the first bands I listened to (Filter's Title of Record was also my first album... listened to it a lot). Honestly Filter is OK, but I think I like them still because of those reasons.
anyway, I ordered that CD because the Borders by my house doesn't have it... should be a fun listen. I like luzier's drumming from what I've heard so far and I like how in Goodbye the riff during the chorus has a 7/8 feel. not really, but in every other measure it's just the same riff on the offbeats. right... I just like that effect. it annoys me that he plays the same guitar solo every time they play this song, but I guess that's true for a lot of rock. oh well. pretty cool band, though yeah, like what some people said, the lyrical content lacks substance. still a good song though...

This band might actually be decent. I have actually been kind of interested in them.
The De Leo bros are good songwriters and players.
R. Patrick is okay, but sometimes his lyrics/songs sound like they were written by a 13 yr old in study hall. Maybe they will teach him a thing or two.
Drumming was alright. Nothing amazing, but it was solid and it worked.
