Mounting Question

Well when this package arrives (I'll be a happy man that day), I need to figure out how I'm going to mount these two Black Panthers.

As you know, I'm going to have the 18x14 bass drum mount the 12x8 tom and have the floor tom the right. And I'll have either the Mapex Pro-M or my Tama Superstar snare as the main snare.

Now I want to mount one BP to the 12x8 and one next to my hihats (left).

Like this:

---[BP1]--[TOM]---------
------[BASS---------]--------
--{HATS}-------------------
[BP2]---[SNARE]-----[FLOOR]

It shouldn't be difficult to figure out. There's really no need to post about it. Just a simple problem you need to take a look at yourself and figure out what hardware pieces will do what and wether or not you'll need more. Either way an actual picture will help much more than your drawing :p

I was just posting to get the opinions of everyone else. I was thinking a raised snare stand next to the tom.

Now that you clarify it, a raised snare stand might work, depending on the height, angle, etc. Try it out!

So you basically want your BP1 to be where a high tom would be in a typical 5-piece setup?

Seems like it could be cool. I also don't know where else you'd put it... Never really had to deal with 3 snares before :p

Just use a snare stand.
You might need a clamp to get it high enough though.
