Wow.

His tone control sounds a bit iffy, but he can keep one helluva rhythm.

The kit clips aren't that impressive, but his djembe/bongo work...wow.

Some comments on his playing suggest he should study tablas with an Indian master.

I agree 100%.

Meh..
I wasn't impressed with his Drbeke work.
Partly becasue I come from where we master the art, and pretty much invented it.
But for what it was, it was very good.

He was good technically, but like, I don't think he understood what he was playing, and like why, and the background, so than he could get a better feel.
Maybe thats why he should study with the Indian master.

Fair enough.

It's more of just refreshing to see that someone of his apparent background getting into it at a younger age.

Once he hones his skills, and begins to understand them--I think he will be a great player.
