View Full Version : Clubbed To Death (new video)
so i did a little rendition of the piano interlude from Rob Dougan's "Clubbed To Death."

if you've never actually heard the song...

(the part i did is around 1:30).
by the way, i'm fairly certain that the interlude is used from a classical piece of music. if anyone knows who the composer is, the name of the song, or whatever...i'd like to know.

Nice.
Rob Dougan is great for ominous backing music, and he's quite easy and fun to jam along to, but have you heard his NON instrumental stuff? At first it's got a nice vibe to it - not the most technically skilled singer, but very effective, but by the time you get on to songs with titles like 'I'm Not Driving Anymore', it starts to grate. :)
That's a nice arrangement though - tabs?
yeah, i'm not too keen on his vocals; but i let it slide just because everything else is so satisfying. his voice in Furious Angels is alright though.
i made a tab for it, but it's stuck on my other computer. (the screen is severely ****ed up). i'll try to pull the file off of it later today.

Very nice. Kinda sounds a bit like Moonlight Sonata. Hmm. I dunno though, I may just be making things up:p Very well done though, loved the tone:)

Thats one of my favorite songs ever. You did it justice, good game :thumb:

yeah me too, but i get too much distortion if i have too much bass with that particular setting. plus, it just depends on what kind of speakers you're using to listen.
goddamnit, i tried getting the tab off my old computer but i only have about three square inches of the screen that i can actually see. and i know the ****ing file is right there on the desktop!
well, i suppose if at least several people request it, i'll make another one.

that was awsome, not a huge fan of solo bass normally, but for slowish tapping i always make an exception, what bass do you have? was loving the tone, and if you can be arsed to retab it, i wont say no to nicking it off ya

Very very nice, Dylan :) That really impressed me!
I love the original song too. A fantastic piece. I don't understand the video though.. Any care to shed some light on it? If there is actually a meaning to it?

I liked it. Once I heard the original version, I just knew that I would like a tapped version...I dunno why. But yeah, good stuff.

Honestly, I liked your rendition more than the actual song itself. I just found the actual song to be boring.

pretty good. rob d's stuff is generally awesome, wouldn't have thought it would convert to bass this well.
