Well I've been a Michigan fan as long as I can remember... that and I work in Ann Arbor, so you know where my vote is going... So who do you all think will win the big rivalry showdown this weekend?

Well, I'm rooting for osu, naturally, but it'll definitely be a good close game. The hype around Columbus is a bit ridiculous though.

GO BLUE, as i am not a huge fan of Michigan, i rather dislike OSU (along with USC and BYU), especially in 2002 (contraversial call that gave them the nat. championship, OSU)

No kiddin'. I called my dad earlier and he was like, "Did you hear the news?" and when I said no, he told me to turn to the Detroit News... and yeah, what a blow.

It's ironic, too, because three weeks ago he collapsed while filming the same show on the same set he just passed away on.

But really, the man's been on a banana peel for 36 years... a heart attack in '70, two quadruple bypasses, etc... it's a wonder he lived as long as he did.

Phenomenal coach, RIP.

I was in a meeting most of the afternoon so when I got back to my desk I thought the guy that told me was BSing. I know he's had some serious heart problems for a really long time, but damn. I think he was the only person in history that was ever or will ever be allowed to be a buckeye and a Wolverine.

Michigan just cause my friends like OSU.

Not much reason... but hey I get to brag more to all of them if Michigan wins.

I was pretty surprised at all the articles that ESPN.com has... real touching stuff. He was a real humanitarian despite his I-don't-take-no-****-from-nobody mantra.

I dont watch much college football, but I see Michigan winning. I'm not sure why, considering the game is in Columbus.

Even though I'm a Wolverine fan, I have to respect Troy Smith for getting up after some of the hits he took. But without him, OSU is scarcely better than .500.

No kidding about the hits. He was getting his *** kicked. Osu's offensive line was dissapointing.

wow. Just wow. Michigan should have won. OSU didn't beat them, they beat themselves with a few botched plays and stupid penalties. And the 52 yard TD run by OSU in the first half shouldn't have happened either. A Michigan defender would have had him but instead the ref backed up and got clobbered, preventing the U of M defender from making the tackle. Oh well. Nothin to be done about it now. Except maybe a rematch. I had mixed feelings on that, but I honestly think that if USC or Florida plays OSU for the title it will be a blowout. I think U of M is the only team around that stands a chance against OSU.

I disagree with you...any legitimate Quarterback can make the throws he makes...the wide receivers for OSU are amazing, they run their routes perfectly allowing them to get open quite often....Smith didnt show anything that amazing against my Wolverines, but hey maybe I'm talking out of pure hate for OSU.

well looks like we will be seeing a rematch of this game for the national championship(at least we should), since UCLA took it to the trojans and won today.
