Tons of my friends are into them, I find them too wanky though. Zach Hill is probably king of all guest musicians now, though. He's on something like one new album a month.

By the way, his recent side project Shredship Earth, makes Metal Machine Music sound melodic.

I support this band because they're from my town. They're ok live, and Zach Hill plays some cool shows outside of Hella. The acoustic albums are also ok by me. But yeah, better bands out there.
