You install the pack from the Windows cd (maybe you can find it somewhere on microsoft.com). My keyboard has two letters on each key; one Arabic and one English.
Ask if you have any questions.
do you have xp? if you have your windows cd you can go into control panel> regional and language options> languages tab> install files for right to left. it will then ask for the windows cd and you can add arabic as a language choose it from the language bar or hit alt rightshift and type. you can then get an arabic keyboard or keysets (little stickers you can put on the keyboard) so you know where the letters are because yours is english.

Yeah, provided the short vowels are written (normally only long vowels are except in religious texts).

there is a combination like alt shift. and the right shift goes one way and the left the other. its ctrl or alt or the win key or something.
or right click on the language bar on the taskbar. turn it on by right clicking on the taskbar and going into toolbars if its not on.

No, al-qataara is more like medicine dropper.
One who drops would be Al-Moqatter (one who drops with a dropper).
you know you have two shift buttons? the one underneath enter that is long and the one under caps lock. pressing alt and the right one will change to arabic. pressing alt and the left one changes to english.

In English, ص ض ط ظ are called "emphatic" because they sound like consonants we have but are darker. You know how they change the sound of a vowel that comes after them? It sounds really different to us.

Take the English word "cake". The c sound in it is the equivalent to the Arabic letter kaf. Replacing the kaf sound with a Qaf will darken the vowel, so it will be pronounced as "Qeik".
